Who it is for

Built for a buyer who has to decide soon.

A good fit

  • You have an active requirement and a decision still open: a quote to benchmark, a supplier to replace, a first order to place.
  • The order is large enough to justify a check: roughly £3,000 or more for the first order, or £10,000+ of purchasing over the next 12 months.
  • You can share a specification, drawing, photo or an existing quotation.

Probably not a fit

  • General browsing or "what could I import?" with no specific product.
  • One-off orders too small for a £295 check to pay back. We will say so rather than take your money.
  • Needing someone to place orders, inspect production or arrange shipping. See "What it is not" below.
What you get

A decision-ready report, not a supplier directory.

One requirement in, one written report out. The aim is to reduce the risk and cost of a real purchasing decision.

01

Manufacturer identification

A short list of suitable manufacturers for your spec, with factory vs trading-company status established where evidence allows.

02

Verification

What was actually checked for each (business registration, address, certificates, export history) and what was not.

03

Pricing, MOQ, lead time

Quoted or indicative figures side by side, each labelled verified, supplier-claimed or estimated. Landed-cost assumptions are written out.

04

Spec comparison

Where each option meets, exceeds or departs from your specification, including materials, tolerances and customisation.

05

Sample options

Sample availability, cost and timing for the options worth testing.

06

Compliance risks

Relevant UK product requirements flagged, and the evidence still needed. This is a risk flag, not legal advice.

07

Clear recommendation

Proceed, investigate further or reject, with the reasoning and the next three things to check before money is committed.

08

Your decision

No purchase, sample payment or supplier commitment is made on your behalf.

How it works

Four steps, price agreed before work starts.

1 · BRIEF

Send your requirement

Product, quantity, specification, destination, deadline and any reference quote.

2 · SCOPE

We confirm fit

We reply by email to confirm the scope, or tell you it is not a fit. No charge for this step.

3 · AGREE

£295, in writing

Payment arrangements are confirmed by email once the scope is agreed. Work starts after that.

4 · REPORT

Written report

Delivered within five working days of the agreed scope.

What it is not

A Supply Check is research and a recommendation. It does not include placing orders, holding money or goods, on-site factory inspection, production quality control or shipping. It does not guarantee any supplier's performance or a saving. If the evidence does not support a purchase, the report says so.

Method and evidence standard

Every figure says where it came from.

Supplier claims are never silently turned into facts. Each statement in the report carries one of these labels:

VERIFIED: checked against a first-party or official source, datedSUPPLIER-CLAIMED: stated by the supplier, not independently checkedESTIMATE: our calculation, assumptions shownUNKNOWN: not established

We work from your brief, supplier-provided quotations and documents, and public records. We do not invent suppliers, quotations or certifications, and we say UNKNOWN when we do not know.

Who runs it

SupplyRadar is operated from China, helping overseas buyers validate suppliers and sourcing decisions.

This is a new service. There are no published client case studies yet, and the report layout above is an illustration, not a past client's result. If you would like to see how a check would handle your product before paying, ask in your brief.
